Our Mission
At Limitless Dojo Consulting, our mission is to help martial arts schools develop inclusive programs where students of all abilities can participate, grow, and thrive.
For many individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, access to self-defense training and structured physical activity is especially important. Research shows that individuals with intellectual disabilities are significantly more likely to experience bullying, exploitation, and other forms of victimization compared to the general population. Because of this increased vulnerability, programs that build confidence, awareness, and personal safety skills can play an important role in helping individuals navigate the world with greater independence and security.
Martial arts training supports this development in powerful ways. Through structured instruction, students build body awareness, coordination, emotional regulation, and the confidence to set boundaries and advocate for themselves. These skills extend far beyond the dojo and can positively influence a student’s experience at school, at home, and within their community.
Limitless Dojo Consulting works with martial arts instructors and school owners to develop teaching strategies that support diverse learners. By providing practical training on adaptive instruction, communication techniques, and inclusive class structure, we help instructors create environments where students with different learning needs can participate successfully alongside their peers.
When martial arts schools embrace inclusive practices, they expand their ability to serve families, strengthen their communities, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to experience the benefits of martial arts training—including the confidence, discipline, and life skills that martial arts is known for.
Our Founder
Chelsea Clark is a martial arts educator and consultant with more than 20 years of training in the martial arts. She is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has dedicated her career to using martial arts as a tool for personal growth, confidence, and inclusion. She has been a member of Team Revolution sponsored by Century Martial Arts for 10 years.
For the past 15 years, Chelsea has worked with the Kickstart Kids program founded by Grandmaster Chuck Norris, teaching martial arts in the public school setting. Through this work, she has had the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with special education departments to ensure that appropriate accommodations and modifications are provided so every student can participate meaningfully in karate class.
Chelsea’s experience in both martial arts instruction and the public school environment has shaped her passion for inclusive training. Through Limitless Dojo Consulting, she helps martial arts instructors learn practical strategies for working with students with diverse learning and developmental needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Down Syndrome.
Her mission is to help martial arts schools create environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed, build confidence, and experience the life-changing benefits of martial arts.
