What People Are Saying

Hear from martial arts instructors and school leaders who have participated in Limitless Dojo Consulting seminars and certification training.

Their experiences reflect how inclusive teaching strategies can strengthen martial arts programs and help more students succeed.

Chelsea Clark is an amazing instructor with a rare ability to connect with every student in the room. Her passion and energy are contagious, and the moment I watched her teach I knew I had to bring her to TCK.

Do yourself a favor and elevate your team by having Chelsea come in for an instructor training. My team truly benefited from the experience.

If you are serious about developing better instructors and creating stronger classes, she is someone you want in front of your team.

“As martial artists, black belts, and especially instructors we tell ourselves, our students, and everyone we talk to that martial arts is for everyone. That’s much more difficult to put into practice when it comes to teaching those that learn differently or have a learning disability. Chelsea’s seminars will help you understand how to teach and how to convey your art to everyone no matter their learning style.”

“I had the pleasure of attending Ms. Clark’s seminar at the 2025 United Fighting Arts Federation International Training Conference, and I learned so much! I’ve known Ms. Clark for several years, but only as a fellow martial arts practitioner and as a competitor—and a fierce and talented one at that! But during her seminar, I discovered that she is also a very talented and dynamic instructor, with a depth of knowledge and breadth of experience working with students of all backgrounds and abilities, including those with special needs. I discovered that having special needs does not equate to having less abilities, but rather learning in different ways. As a martial arts instructor myself, I had several takeaways from her seminar that have made me a better instructor, and I highly recommend attending Ms. Clark’s classes or seminars to anyone who is looking for a highly-motivated, dynamic, knowledgeable, energetic, and empowering instructor.”

“I recently attended Chelsea Clark’s Limitless Dojo Seminar, and it was excellent. Chelsea Clark shared practical strategies for working with students with special needs in a martial arts environment.

The seminar was clear, well organized, and full of actionable ideas that instructors can immediately apply—from communication techniques to class structure adjustments. Chelsea’s experience and passion for inclusive martial arts education really came through.

I highly recommend this seminar to any instructor looking to better serve students with special needs and create a more inclusive martial arts program.”

“Attending Ms. Clark’s seminar helped our instructors learn a variety of ways to work with special needs students. It opened our eyes to the fact that these students are capable of so much more than what they sometimes get credit for!”

“Teaching martial arts to students with special needs requires more than technical skill—it requires patience, empathy, adaptability, and creativity.  Chelsea Clark possesses all of these and more!  She is passionate about teaching her students and even more passionate about teaching her fellow instructors how to work with special needs students.  Her seminars offer instructors the practical tools and understanding needed to create an inclusive training environment where every student can build confidence, discipline, and personal success through martial arts.  I have seen her students compete with confidence against students from all over the world.”

a message from Patti May, Retired Principal & Special Education Coordinator

During the three years I had the opportunity to work alongside Chelsea in the school setting, I consistently observed her commitment to making martial arts accessible to every student. She worked closely with our special education department to thoughtfully implement accommodations and modifications so that students with a wide range of learning needs could participate meaningfully in karate class.
Chelsea demonstrated a strong understanding of how to adapt instruction while still maintaining the structure and expectations that make martial arts so valuable for students. Through her approach, many of our students showed noticeable growth in areas such as social interaction, pattern recognition, and self-confidence. Students who initially struggled to participate became more engaged, more willing to try new challenges, and increasingly proud of their progress.
Her ability to balance high expectations with supportive teaching strategies made a meaningful impact on our students. It was clear that the environment she created allowed students to feel successful, respected, and motivated to grow both on and off the mat.
Chelsea’s program is a shining example of providing equal opportunities for all students in the least restrictive environment.
